On Saturday we had Acelynn baptized at St. James. Our family was gathered around to celebrate this event with us. Acelynn did great. She didn't even cry when the water was being poured on her head!! Ava did good too. She definitely liked the audience!

Acelynn in her baptismal gown. This gown has been passed down from generation to generation in Kyle's family. Kyle's mom and both Aunts wore it (1st generation); Kyle's cousin Kerri wore it (2nd generation); Laine (Kyle's cousin Kirk's daughter), Ava & Acelynn have worn it (3rd generation). We hope to keep this tradition going with future generations!
We followed up the baptism with a cookout at our house. The weather held off long enough for everyone to eat and hangout a little. Then it rained for a moment and then cleared up so we could make some smores' by the bonfire!!!
