Happy Halloween!!!!

Since Ava was feeling a little better, she still has a horrible cough, we decided to dress her up and take her out to Trick or Treat.

This was her sleeper she was in all day at daycare. She had a witches' hat to go with it, but I forgot to put it on before I took her picture.
Happy lil' Candy Corn
Ava and Kyle with Kyle's cousin Kirk and his daughter Laine (dressed as a kitty cat)
We didn't stay outside too long, but we did get around to most everyone's house tonight so they could see our little candy corn!!!!! We can't wait for next year when she can walk and actually trick or treat!!!!

I don't feel very good.........

This was Ava Saturday night when her daddy got home from work. Her fever of 102 finally broke that morning, but she was still very congested!!!! What a sad little face.

Daddy make me feel better please!!!!

Our first cold.......

Today I took Ava to the doctor's because she has a running nose, a cough, congested chest and a fever of 100.3. Come to find out though she only has a cold (which is good). No ear infection and she doesn't even have a sore throat. She weighed in at 10# 13oz. She has moved into the 50th percentile for her weight. YEAH!!!

Hopefully Ava will be feeling better soon, so she can go trick or treating on Wednesday in her Candy Corn costume.

What a peanut!!!!

I was bored the other day because it was raining out, so we couldn't go for our morning walk. So, I decided to lay Ava on the couch to see if I could get some good pictures since she was in a good mood!!! Here's what we got!!

Now if those don't make your day or make you smile. I don't know what will.

Pretty in Pink

I dressed Ava up in all pink the other day. At first she wasn't to excited that I was taking her picture, but decided she needed to look cute and put a smile on her face.

What a Pretty Girl!!!!

Two month checkup

Here is Ava happy in her stroller right before we leave to go to the doctor's for her two month check up and shots!!!

Ava weighted 10# 1/2 oz (40th percentile) and was 22 3/4 inches long (75th percentile). The Dr. is very happy with her weight gain and developmental progress. Getting her shots was not so fun. I thought I had heard her scream before, but not until she screamed with the first shots!!! It was horrible because there was nothing I could do for her.

Hangin' Out

Here are a few pictures of Ava from the past couple of weeks.

What mom??
Okay I'll smile for you (Elvis style)
Funny?!?!
I'm enjoying watching football with dad on Sunday in my bean bag!!

Baptism

Ava was baptized on Saturday at St. James. We had a perfect day for it and the cookout/bonfire afterwards at our house. Almost all of our family was able to join us for this special day. Ava did great all the way through the baptism until Kirk and I tried to get her dressed in her baptism gown. Then she decided she was hungry and wanted to eat then!!!
Ava in her baptism gown, bonnet (it turns into a hankerchief on her wedding day) and beautiful bracelet.
