Christmas at Grammies

On Christmas Eve we went to my mom's for dinner and then we went to the children's mass at St. James. The girls had fun at church singing Christmas carols and they both went to sit with Father Kusi during the Homily. It was neat to see him interact with the kids and get them involved!!! After mass we go back to my mom's to open gifts and eat dessert!!!

Christmas with the Wombles

Every year we do Christmas with the Wombles. Patrick & Atalie made it home from California. Sally was suppose to be there but her flight was delayed 7 days due to winter storms in England. We make gingerbread houses and eat pizza and just hang out.

Christmas with Grandpa

On Monday before Christmas we headed over to my dad's house to have dinner with him and to celebrate Christmas. The girls were really excited about going over there to watch Cars and to play with my old Barbie dolls (which are actually my aunts old Barbies....so they are 50 some years old).

The Big Chill

Michigan State and the University of Michigan hockey teams played another outdoor hockey game, but this time at the BIG House in Ann Arbor on December 11th. Kyle and I went with my mom, sisters and Jason. We had a great time even though the Spartans lost 5-0. We were part of a world record of 113, 400 people to attend an outdoor hockey game.

Our seats were only 3 rows up in the corner

Afterward we found out that the University of Michigan lied to the Guieness book of Word Records by reporting tickets sold instead of tickets scanned at the gates of people actually attending the game. So, we were not part of a world record, but 89,000 people at a hockey game is a lot of people!
