Easter at GG's

After church we headed over to GG's house for an egg hunt and Easter dinner. The kiddo's found all of the eggs but 3!!! The Easter bunny (GG) was very kind this year!!!!

This was by far the quickest and easiest picture I have taken of them. They did really good at sitting there and looking at us all at the same time!!!!!

After the hunt, we went inside and hungout. It was a beautiful day but it was really windy. We had a wonderful dinner and are very blessed to have a such a great family to spend time with!!!

Easter morning

When the girls woke up Sunday morning, Ava was upset because the Easter bunny had not come to our house. Well, she did not look very good. They finally found their baskets on the kitchen table!!!!

Ava got the new Fresh Beat Band CD.

Yes, we had to listen to it while we got ready for church!!!

After the girls went through their baskets and had a piece of candy for breakfast, we all got dressed and headed out Eden Church to have breakfast with my dad (he was cooking) and Elaine. It was a very nice breakfast and fun to see some of the people we had met on Saturday!!! After breakfast we headed back into town to go to Easter mass at our church!!!

After the egg hunt we headed home for lunch and naps before we headed out to Meemaw's to color eggs. When we got their Cameron and Carter were excited to see their cousins and get on with the egg coloring!!!!!

Eden Church Egg Hunt

On Saturday we headed out to Eden Church for their Easter egg hunt. Elaine was nice enough to invite us out there. It was a beautiful morning and a decent turn out of kids. The kids 3 and under went hunting for their eggs in the infield of the baseball field and the older kids hunted for their eggs in the outfield.

Acelynn was a little hesitant at first, but then she finally decided she wanted to pick up eggs.

Elaine was kind enough and took Ava out. Ava had a blast and got a lot of eggs.

Acey wouldn't take her picture with the Easter Bunny (which I don't blame her it was kind of scary looking), so we did a family picture instead!!!

After the girls got all their eggs, we headed back into the gym to open them up to find out what was inside. Most of them had candy and suckers, but it you were lucky enough, and Ava was, and found a yellow prize ticket then you got to pick out a special prize.

After we emptied all of our eggs, we headed out for a snack. They had sausage mcmuffins and pancake/sausage on a stick, fruit, yogurt, juice and bagels. After we finished that, Elaine took the girls over to do a craft. Egg picture frames.

After decorating their egg frames, we headed into Pam's room for some Tootsie Roll Bingo!!!

Both girls got a Bingo and were able to get a prize!!!

The girls decided they wanted to run around in the gym, so I let them. And in the process got to take some cute pictures of Declan (Elaine's grandson)

We had a great time and look forward to going back next year!!!!

Bike Ride

Yesterday we had beautiful weather for it being March and the girls have been enjoying going on bike rides and for walks. I finally took my camera with us to get some pictures of the girls on their bikes.

Ava has been doing better about pedaling. She still likes to pedal backwards and wonders why her bike won't go forward. I'm sure by the end of the summer we will be without or close to no training wheels.

Doolittle's Bit Top Circus

Ava's Early Learning class put on a production of Doolittle's Big Top Circus this year. Mrs. Cousins' took over doing the Circus after Margaret Doolittle passed away about a year and a half ago. Mrs. Doolittle had been doing the circus for years before that!!!!

All the kids did an excellent job. I was very proud of Ava. She has really come out of her shell this past year. At the beginning of the year I would of never thought that she would get up on stage and talk LOUD in front of people. She is growing up so fast!!!!
